Si² Supplemental Instructional Services, Inc. is committed to helping children become confident, enthusiastic independent learners! Our program’s effectiveness is centered on the academic gains and successes of participating students. A comprehensive Individual Academic Profile (IAP) is used to “point the compass”, student placement testing and weekly progress monitoring, “chart the course” and post testing and evaluation mark “safe passage to a sea of success”!

Si² is proud to offer high quality State Standards driven tutoring programs in Language Arts/Reading and Mathematics.

• Students tutoring sessions take place at children’s home school because research states that children learn best in a structured familiar educational setting.
• Students will receive small group instruction because research shows that learning is a social process.
• Students receive positive face to face student/teacher instructional interaction on a weekly basis.
• Si² is staffed with highly qualified and dedicated professionals who enjoy working with children.
• Si² creates an individualized student profile by compiling information gathered from educational history, input from the current teachers and school stakeholders, as well as parent surveys.
• Si² will provide all instructional resources and materials for each tutoring session.
• Pre and post assessments are administered to properly place children and measure learning gains or growth.
• Individualized lessons are designed to meet children’s instructional level and delivered through a strategic approach.
• Informal assessments are used weekly to guide individualized instruction for children.
• Parents receive progress reports on a regular basis.
• There will be consistent communication between children’s’ current classroom teachers and key school/district personnel.
• Upon request, parents can receive additional work for their child to complete in between sessions and/or to reinforce strategies and skills being covered.
