Paula Barry
County: Clark
Paula Barry grew up in a suburb on the outskirts of Philadelphia where she was surrounded by a family of educators.She went to the University of Massachusetts and earned a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and Communication and graduated with honors. Currently, Paula is working on finishing her master’s degree through the University of Florida. For 4 years Paula taught kindergarten in a rural migrant community in Florida and also became ESOL endorsed while working there.She now teaches in an inclusion classroom for first grade in Clark County, Nevada.Paula has been a tutor for Si2 and loves the positive experiences she has shared with its community.

 

William Wesley Coffman
County: Clark
William Wesley Coffman earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 1999 from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He has been a teacher
for the Clark County School District for more than 10 years. Over the last decade, he has worked with Kindergarten and First Graders at a Title 1 at-risk school in the Las Vegas area. He holds endorsements in TESOL and is a certified trainer in Thinking Maps and Kagan Structures. In addition to teaching, Mr. Coffman has tutored for over five years. Last year, he was a tutor and a lead teacher for SI2. This year he is a Coordinator for Si2 and oversees tutoring services for the company in 27 schools across the Las Vegas Valley.
 
Robin Vircsik
Clark County
 
Ms. Vircsik has a BS from the University of Georgia, a Master's from the University of Central Florida, and a Specialist's Degree from Nova Southeastern University. She is a second-generation elementary teacher and a third generation graduate from the University of Georgia. Robin has spent time in Sweden and New Zealand observing successful early childhood practices. Robin currently teaches kindergarten in Las Vegas and has testified before the Nevada Legislature in favor of class size reduction in kindergarten and more efficient use of educational funds. For most of Robin's twenty-year career, she has worked with low-income children. Robin believes that any child can be put on a path toward success through high-quality educational programs.
