Kevin D. Archard
Counties: Highlands

Kevin D. Archard earned his Bachelors of Arts in Communication Studies and a Masters of Education in Exceptional Student Education at the University of Florida. He earned his certification in Educational Leadership after completing coursework at the University of Central Florida. Kevin has served as an ESE teacher, ESOL/ESE Liaison, and 21st Century Learning Community after school care coordinator in grades K-12 at various Title I and at-risk school settings. He believes that the most salient and rich learning experiences come from cooperative discovery and challenging subject matter. He strives to bring consistency, diligence, and warmth to teaching and learning in the hope that he can ultimately inspire and encourage such traits in the children he works with.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 
Jessica Barkley
Counties: Citrus
Jessica Barkley graduated Summa Cum Laude with honors earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the State University of New York at Oneonta in 2001. She then earned her Master’s Degree in Special Education from Dowling College, Long Island, New York in 2003, when she once again graduated Summa Cum Laude. Jessica taught at the kindergarten, 3rd and 5th grade levels over the course of her career before becoming a mother. In addition to her classroom teaching roles, Jessica often sought out opportunities to be trained in new methodologies, served on district wide-curriculum and decision-making committees, and was often responsible for training fellow staff members and educators on various topics. Jessica left the classroom in 2008 and moved her career in education to working with Si2. Jessica embraces her role as “mommy”, having one daughter and a son on the way in August of 2009. Shiela Creque
County: Dade
Sheila Creque obtained a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Miami. She later earned a Master of Business Administration. She had taught Special Education, Gifted, 4th grade General Education, and ESOL for Miami Dade Public Schools for more than 13 years. Following teaching, she segued into the world of business. Ms. Creque’s precise entrepreneurial vision helped design a unique plush toy in association with one of the number one pop music groups in the country, Boyz II Men. The philosophy that Ms. Creque wakes up to every day may best explain where she’s coming from: “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen nor touched, but are felt with the heart.” Her passion for her work with children, teachers, and her philosophy brought her back to Miami 4 years ago. She takes pleasure in embracing her career as a committed educator. Tangie Durham
County: Polk
Tangie Durham graduated from Troy University in Alabama with a degree in Elementary Education. She has taught K-5 and is currently a writing resource teacher for a Title 1 school which has been the designation for every school Tangie has served. For over 16 years, education has not been a career but a way of life. Her love and devotion to the children is unsurpassed and is the driving force for each day. Tangie has spent the last eight years developing a school wide writing instructional timeline using the best and most effective practices from research-based programs resulting in 97% of this year's students scoring at or above state expectations. From curriculum to instruction, Tangie is dedicated to finding what is best for each and every child. This philosophy is also embedded in the training and expectations for the tutors that serve SI2 students in her district. Tara Konrardy
Counties: Charlotte, DeSoto and Sarasota
Tara Konrardy earned her Bachelors of Science at the University of Central Florida in Exceptional Student Education (Emotionally Handicaps) and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Gulf Coast University. She has served as a self-contained teacher and inclusive co-teacher for students with Exceptional Student Education needs, Dean for Discipline and Attendance, Assistant Principal, and after-school program coordinator for grades 3 through 8 in various Title I school settings in Collier and Charlotte counties. Additionally, she has served as a consultant and presented at various state, District, and national conferences on serving students' exceptional education needs in an inclusion model. Susan Roberts
County: Marion
Susan Roberts received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Salve Regina College in Newport, Rhode Island and a Master of Science Degree from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She has taught for 28 years and currently teaches 3rd, 4th and 5th grade Math and Science. Susan has been teaching students with special needs, specializing in teaching the Emotionally Handicapped, for more than half of her 28 years. She has taught every grade level from Kindergarten through 5th grade as well as being an Adjunct Professor for Nova Southeastern University. Susan has been selected twice by her peers as Teacher of the Year and has gone on to become a Marion County Golden Apple Teacher. Heather Utset
County: Dade and Broward
Heather Utset obtained her degree in Education from Miami Dade College, and continued her studies at Florida International University in Special Education. Heather has worked in the education field for many years in the Miami area as a substitute teacher and a private tutor with student’s who had special needs in grades K-5th. Heather moved to Georgia eight years ago, where she worked in the ECE field as a Principal/Director. She and her family relocated back to their home town of Miami, where she has worked in the SES field since 2007, providing services in the tri-county area through partnerships within community agencies and organizations who serve fragile, at-risk students. During the 08-09 school year, Heather was proud to begin her work as a Coordinator for Si2 in the Dade and Broward county areas, representing what she has witnessed to be a quality SES program that shows positive gains and great success from the students that are serviced.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Meagan Wells
County: Pinellas
Meagan Wells earned a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and ESOL endorsement from the University of South Florida in 2004. Mrs. Wells taught pre-school for 4 years in Seminole and Sarasota, Florida. She went on to teach first grade for 2
years at Ballard Global Studies Magnet Elementary School in Bradenton, Florida. For the
05/06 school year, Mrs. Wells worked with Mrs. Karyn Carlson through a staff development literacy program in Manatee County. Mrs. Wells joined the Si2 team in 2006, and has served as the Si2 Coordinator for Pinellas County during this time. In the 08/09 school year, she became Florida’s Region II Supervisor as well as a Co-Coordinator for Citrus County. In addition to managing quality programs for Si2, she will also be taking on the role as Marketing Specialist beginning in the 09/10 school year. Mrs. Wells loves working as a part of the Si2 family because she values the relationships she has developed with the districts, tutors, students and families. Let’s Si2 success!!!
