Become A Tutor
Supplemental Instructional Services, Inc. (Si2 ) is committed to helping children become confident, enthusiastic independent learners! Our Program's effectiveness is centered on the academic gains and successes of participating students.
- Tutor in Language Arts (Reading and Writing) and Math
- 20-30 hours depending on the County's per student allocation
- Small group instruction, consisting of 3-5 students per group
- Materials for tutors and students are provided
- Tutors = canvas bag, pen/highlighter, tutor portfolio, copy paper, stickers, mini first aid kit, motivational items for students, etc.
- Students = sling backpack, pencil, student portfolio, t-shirt, certificate and medallion
- Snacks for students are provided
- Completion or participation certificate for students
- Utilize a customized electronic management system
- Company Spanish translator
- Paid Bi-monthly (30th and 15th subsequent month of services)
- Direct Deposit
